I've started integrating my albums into my MediaJukebox CCF. Nearly all of my editing has been accomplished using Tonto 1.41 on OSX. Of course, since SNL doesn't run on OSX, I move my CCF to a Windows machine to create the SNL devices. Last night, using SNL 2.0.0.3, I tried to access both the "player" device and the "list" I got the following error: Loading "C:\Documents and Settings\brad\My Documents\CCF Files\brad1_0b6.ccf" CCF file
CCF Format Version 4 detected
RC5200 CCF format detected (touchscreen v1.0.14)
Loading Home
Cannot load "C:\Documents and Settings\brad\My Documents\CCF Files\brad1_0b6.ccf" CCF file.
"C:\Documents and Settings\brad\My Documents\CCF Files\brad1_0b6.ccf" is not a valid CCF file. I opened the same file in TSS 2.0.4 and resaved it. I then used the resaved file from TSS and SNL worked fine. I'm not sure how to pin down if this is an issue with Tonto or with SNL, but I've posted in both threads. Thanks, Brad

Brad,
This is NOT an SNL issue. It is a Tonto/CCF Decompiler issue (CCFDLL.DLL). Therefore, you will need to work this out between Olivier and Stewart.
How does SNL utilize CCFTools?
Users of SNL need to understand that...
1) SNL decompiles the "Input CCF" to a CSF file and reads the file. 2) SNL adds Devices to a new CSF file. 3) SNL then invokes the CCF Compile to compile the new CSF file to an "Output CCF".
Therefore, If you cannot decompile/recompile your "Input CCF" using CCFTools, SNL will never work!!!
Once Again, I guess... "Tonto" Scalped me!!!

Lyndel,
Thanks for checking into this. I emailed Stewart copies of the CCF that had been edited in Tonto & the copy that had been resaved in TSS (and subsequently worked in SNL). He said that there was only one small difference that he was able to pick out.
I guess I'll touch base with Oliver to see if it's an important enough bug to squash. Meanwhile, the only work-around is to make sure that TSS/ProntoEdit can open the CCF--which means you need access to a Windows machine (or VPC).
Best, Brad

The difference, for posterity, is that a CCF created by Tonto does not add any default buttons to the system macro template. Once the CCF is loaded into TSS, TSS adds them if they are missing. I don't know if this is enough to cause the decompiler/compiler to crash, but it's certainly not a 'violation' of the CCF format.

I suspect it's the colors > 215 thing, not the macro panel. This should be a trivial fix for the CCFTools. I know this is out of your control.

Lyndel kindly replied to a question i posed re snl colour buttons/bars. as a new user i am afraid the explanation on how to override the default black & white buttons/bars in snl1 is completely over my head. does anyone have any colour graphics to replace the original b&w ones in snl1?

Baz,
Making the assumption that you have a TSU 6000 based on your previous post... You've Got Mail!!!
I have sent you 2 zip files to try.
As the filenames in the zips conflict with each other, you will have to extract files from a single zip, try them, then extract and try the 2nd set.
You must copy these ZIP files into the folder where Supernudelist.EXE resides then open and unzip them specifying 'Use Folder Name'.
If you have a RC9200, you will need to rename the 'COLOR_Override' folder created to 'COLOR_Override_Large' following the Unzip process.

So You Want Color Graphics? You have Carl Chapman to thank for posting his SNL graphics on this site. Here's the URL... [Link: remotecentral.com]I will have another set based on the Original SNL graphics up shortly. Rainbow headers and the like. It appears that Daniel is posting these image sets alongside SuperNudelist in the CCF Programs section of this site. You should check there for graphics updates. Rich,
I don't know how many CD's/Tracks you have loaded but...
You might consider using Tonto or some other program that let's you Browse your icons and ensure that you don't have any duplicate icons. You can also use Windows Explorer (use View As Web Page option on Win98 and higher) to browse the 'Bmp' folder after decompiling your CCF with CCFDecompiler.exe. However, I must admit that for Icon viewing/swapping, I always use Tonto.

New SuperNudelist Files Section Thanks to Daniel, we have a new Files Section completely dedicated for SuperNudelist. I have also uploaded a set of "Rainbow" color graphics that I used prior to building Version 2.0.0.4. You may find SuperNudelist as well as graphics uploaded by fellow users here: [Link: remotecentral.com]

I have a Sony 400 disc CD changer(CDP-CX450). I need to find out what i have to do for the remote to execute individual tracks from certain albums. Example: i want to play track 13 from album A. On the two way remote packaged with the player you have to use a scroll button. You can't just punch in track number i don't think. Has someone found a way to get around this
