Leedav08,

It's a shame that the 450 does not have a discrete Track button on the remote. However, the 450 supports it. If you are using a Pronto or Marantz remote, you can download a configuration (CCF) file from this site that supports discrete (No Scroll Required) track selection.

Do a search in the files section for files uploaded by me. There is a zip file that contains a CCF with all the IR codes for Sony CD Changers for Command modes 1-3 (3 separate devices). On the Keypad/Track panel of each device, there is a button labeled 'Track (H)' that contains the IR discrete code for track selection.

You use the following sequence to select Disc 123, track 13. (SNL Player entries in parenthesis).

'Disc' (SNL Player Before Disc Entry)
'1'
'2'
'3'
'Enter' (SNL Player After Disc Entry)
'Delay .1s'

'Track (H)' (SNL Player Before Track * Entry)
'1'
'3'
'Enter' (SNL Player After Track * Entry)

If you are using this for SuperNudelist, you will need to use the 'Track (H)' button for BOTH the 'Before Track 1 Digit' and 'Before Track 2 Digits' SNL Player entries.

Additionally, BOTH 'After Track' entries should reference the 'Enter' button.

HELP Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay being the genius i am i didn't realize you can save you cd list seperately and import it into your config later. I have finally finished inputting all 400CD into the SNL. But now when i try running it in prontoedit it says this during the loading of the file.

Prontoedit has caused an error in
PRONTOEDIT.EXE.
Prontoedit will now close

Please Please someone tell me i can recover this. I have exported the list into a file but everything i load it into now gives me the same message. I've been programming this thing for 3 weeks now. Someone please tell me there is a way to fix this.

i have encountered a problem with prontoedit 4. I recently bought a sony 400 disc changer in addition to my sony 200 disc changer. that means i have something like 550 discs on one cdlist within snl. snl seems to compile this ok into a ccf but when i try to open it in prontoedit4 it just takes me straight out of the program with no error message. is it that prontoedit cant cope with a single list of that size?

I've created my CCF but ProntoEdit won't load it and terminates abnormally. What can I do?

Tip: Increasing Stack Size, modifying List behavior.

I suspect that there are some problems with Large Lists especially where Tracks are used coupled with either the internal stack size in PE or by the fact that CCFTools may have some internal file structure size limits.

You have several options. They are:

1) Try loading and downloading the CCF in Tonto.
2) Use the Compress Icons option on the Main SNL Screen
3) Generate Multiple Devices if you have more than say 300 panels.
4) If all this works, simply limit under the 'Edit Disc' dialog the discs you can live without tracks. This is done using the 'Ignore Tracks' checkbox.

Aside from these options, the only recourse you will have is to consult Leo's website http://www.theheartofthecorporatebeast.com for instructions on increasing Stack size in ProntoEdit.EXE.

Unfortunately, Leo's PEUpstack.exe does not work with the latest version of PE.

You will need to find a buddy with MS C++ and run the EditBIN.EXE against ProntoEdit.exe to increase the stack size.

NOTE: If you request/receive an updated file, please limit solicitations/"thank you"'s to email only.

I will monitor this thread as I have done in the past for individuals posting thank you's etc... and will send you a condescending email requesting that you edit your message to remove the content should you publicly thank someone for supplying you a file.

This process is considered reverse engineering and is in violation of license agreements. We don't want any recourse on individuals who provide modified executable files from Philips/Marantz, etc...

Thanks for your cooperation.

David,

You will want to follow the above tip with regard to Steps 1-4. As a fallback, the above tip basically tells you to do exactly what you received via email. Hopefully, you have a source with the C++ compiler environment that can help.

I have not spoken with Tom today to confirm if he saw any potential problems.

Tom is a good source for Pronto/ProntoPro issues as he has these remotes. I have the Marantz RC5000i and RC9200 available.

Can you change the color of the text. I have the TSU6000. Every other listing on the SNL has a black background with red text. Is there a way you can change this all at once. I have a lot of panels so it'd be a pain in the butt to do it individually.

thanks

David,

Sounds like your "input" ccf may have possibly been saved as either a TSU1000 or TSU2000 CCF. You should make sure that it gets saved as a TSU6000 CCF prior to running SNL. You can verify in SNL under the 'Edit List' dialog whether SNL thinks your CCF is one for the TSU6000. If the CCF is a ProntoPro CCF, you should see 'Most Left' and 'Most Right' hard button definitions.

If this is not the issue, then you simply have to either left/right click on the color blocks in the 'Advanced List Options' dialog. You get to this dialog using the button on the 'Edit List' dialog that contains the text 'Advanced Options...'.

Without having more information, I cannot venture a guess as to what user-error you are encountering.
