The fact of the matter is that except for maybe Ernie and Fred all of the regulars on here have said something stupid or contradictory. No one knows it all. Is that not why we come here in the first place? Only an idiot would claim to know everything. Anyone with half a brain could easily deduce that it is simply an impossible feat. So with all of that said, I shall continue busting balls, using improper grammar, calling people retards, and jumping down throats. Ernie can continue to purge his CI sinuses by reading my banter, Julie can continue to quote me in CE Pro, Eddizzle can continue hating on me as reigning retard, and the rest of you can lighten up or go f#$k yourselves. Honestly if this is what it comes to im going to stay away from it. Ive herd over and over again about the programing and it obviously makes people go insane! We all are in the same boat with a$$hole customers and dealing with the ever falling profit margins and the last thing we need is for all of us dealers and installers to turn on each other. I think im going to point my company in the direction of AMX. Have a nice day! =)

It is getting awful "ddarche" around here....everyone calm down before the cops are called...or your clients read this and you loose the job...or your boss reads this and you get fired...everyone knows Crestron is the best :)

The only way AMX could be considered the candles is if stealing confidential information from a competitor in an effort to make up for a miserable share of the market is considered the best business practice.
They do make nice looking touchpanels though.

I also left out Vantage (which I'd place between crestron and control4) for that matter, it's just because they aren't brands discussed here often. I also wouldn't place HomeLogic there, rather pronto-ish (if not lower) Pronto-ish, obviously you have haven't used it. If your using AMX, you most likely wouldn't have too, unless you want to over charge for basic jobs. They have complete 2-way drivers unlike many of the Control4 drivers out there. You can't do whole house automation with Pronto-ish! I started out as a Crestron programmer and Java programmer before that, so I understand the Duet crap that is about to flop when Savant starts to take market share from AMX residential. They have already done a number on AMX in our area. Keep digesting this commercial crap that they feed you as residential.
