Just watched my nephew's football team win his age groups state championship. He had a great game personally which made it even better :-)

Negotiating on craigslist over the weekend for an item i listed at $125.
Buyer: Will you accept $80? Its a long drive. Me: Sure. You can pick it up any time Saturday or Sunday. I am home all day. Buyer: Can you meet me half way? Its kind of far. Me: No, you will have to pick up. Buyer: What is the address? Do you think you can do $60 because its pretty far? Me: No. I think i would rather hold out for a full price offer. Buyer: Good luck with that. You already accepted my $80 offer. Me: You should have taken me up on that offer. The price just went up to $150.
I just updated the ad to $150 :)

Mac, I don't blame you one bit for that.
Went through something similar recently. At the end, I told the idiot I would rather beat it with a hammer than sell it to him, so I'm going to give it to Habitat and let them make some money on it.

I have piles and piles of shit due to the same crap Mac. Selling online is just not worth it. If you post it for a certain amount, people will always offer less. I always post stuff for less than the value so it will move, and still get people offering less. I say FIRM. Still get people offering less.
Then if you do agree, they don't show, or do as you say and ask to meet somewhere in the middle. Have even had people offer like half and then ask if I will deliver to them, IN ANOTHER STATE.
I just send shit to the landfill now. Its just not worth my time and aggravation to deal with a bunch of cheap ass people. I already do that between 9-5, Monday through Friday.

I am an employee not the owner so i don't really have tons of AV gear laying around. The stuff i pull goes to the company warehouse. I am not a shopper. I only buy stuff i need usually so i don't have a lot of junk in the garage. My girlfriend hates me because i give or throw away anything we don't use on a regular basis.
Bottom line is that when i do sell something online its something i know will get bought and i always price it low so that it moves and i always tell myself that i will be getting offers for less because of hagglers so im fine with that. Up until this guy i have never had a problem...because i price things so low and i make myself available all day.
The item was a payphone that we bought as a decor piece while we were renting a loft the last couple of years. We got all sorts of funky metal signs and crap. I made a chandelier out of old flashlights. I wish i lived here when i was 20...i would probably keep living here if i were single. The new house is more sophisticated than me and the "man cave" will be occupied by my brother for a while longer so the payphone wont have a spot on the wall.
I don't know whats going on with this guy and people like him. If i wanted something that was listed below the typical craigslist going rate i would just go buy it and pay full price because i wouldn't want to take a chance of losing out. So either this guy really doesn't want the payphone or he has some mental issue that forces him to keep haggling. A payphone is a pretty specific item. The only people who want them are people like me who want it as a fun conversation piece or people who want them in a small business (where i got it from). I knocked more than a 1/3 off "because it was far"...is another $20 really worth losing the item? I don't get it.

You prefer Chaz? You just reminded me of a joke from when i was in Grammar school. I heard 100 kids say it like it was the funniest thing ever. What do you get if you cross Sonny Bono and Yoko Ono? Yoko Ono Bono Something like that anyway. I cant remember exactly how it went. I cant remember why it was funny. Thanks a lot for having that stupid joke pop in my head.

I worked with a builder on the speaker layout for a theater we are doing with 23 speakers in the room. I am looking forward to firing this up!

But there's no subwoofer, so it'll sound kinda lame.... LOL 4 subs, 19 speakers in this room. Pro Audio for speakers and amps, the pre/pro is still TBD but leaning towards a DataSat RS20. I also have 39 TV runs, 33 of which are fiber. I lost count, but I am at some 50 speakers in the home. I really enjoy these mid sized type systems to work on.

Mid size, eh? Salivating over here! Sadly I have signed NDA's so I can't show any pictures. We asked the client what he was looking for, he held up his hand like he was holding a glass of water and said he would like to see the fluid move when the volume was up. With this speaker package and some 10,000 watts of power I think we have a shot of exceeding his expectations.
