Mid size, eh? Salivating over here!

I was thinking the same thing...think my record is 32 speaker pairs plus a 7.2 and a 70-volt outdoor loop, and I've never done more than 19 zones of HD video. That must be a lot of house!

Got this contraption up & running today. It was a very specific request from the client. I've never seen anything quite like it. We tested the setup using a pair of 26" monitors, and I never thought it would be watchable on these 75" LGs. Turns out, it's very watchable.

Really? I can't get past the break in the middle. Nice clean install, and if that's what the client wanted nice work.

Thanks. What bugs me is that every other display in the house is an XBR...the 75"s would have had about a 3/16" narrower gap but these LGs were under $3K apiece. I understand there's a 75" commercial LG with almost no bezel that sells for $7000.

Anyhow, my client loves it so I guess I'm happy.

You could line up a whole flock of birds along that shoulder.
I guarantee I'll tell you the truth and I guarantee I'll tell you what you need to know but I can't guarantee that I'll be telling you anything you want to hear.

4 subs, 19 speakers in this room. Pro Audio for speakers and amps, the pre/pro is still TBD but leaning towards a DataSat RS20.

I also have 39 TV runs, 33 of which are fiber. I lost count, but I am at some 50 speakers in the home. I really enjoy these mid sized type systems to work on.

Never used Pro Audio - pretty great stuff I guess...

Not really, unless you get right up to it. It smells amazing when you cut it though! The theater ceiling is made the same way.

Discovered a small leak in the basement on our big project. I emptied a 5-gallon bucket maybe 50 times in an hour before the water stopped coming in. Subcontractor for the ISP didn't plug the conduit after he ran his fiber into the house.

Did a service call at a clients house where he had some TiVo issues pop up. While I was there, I checked on the wattbox that had showed off-line for a long time.

He told me he had been having problems with his computers, but instead of calling me, he called his IT guy from work out. Disabled the Ubiquiti router and disconnected the WAP that was remote. Put in two Apple routers, one at the modem location, and the second at the remote WAP location. Since that didn't fix his computer problems, he ended up getting a new computer for himself and a new computer for his wife. Network of course was fine all along.

Since Apple products work on a different octet, the watt box doesn't show up at the remote location.

*sigh*
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
