Brendon, you can't die on us.
You have yet to make the reservations for next year's CEDIA :-)

But in all seriousness; how's the drill?

Those labels on the last step of a ladder that say that it is not a step, you have to remove them, they are slippery.

Ummmm.......Well.........I actually hired a photographer, so I can't answer your question pertaining to the latest albums.

With a little advice on the correct settings, I did use a Nikon D3000 to shoot the Carmen Steffens store. I thought they came out pretty good.

Van got broken into tonight and computer stolen (and a bunch of test equipment)...Apparently it really is time for a new laptop...and a PSA; Don't leave valuables in a vehicle this holiday season...And remember to use an automated cloud back up storage system.

On the plus side...time for some new toys!

I had a refreshing day. Met, for the first time, a long time good client of ours. He is old. Very much a tech. geek which is no surprise given his background. What I was there to do was the killer. He currently has an old AMX processor controlling his theater. He had me hard wire 2 toggle switches. One for the motorized screen and one for the projector lift. He also had us remove the commands for both from the AMX app on his iPad. He has been shifting away from using the AMX app and towards using the remote control for his Anthem Statement, the remote for the Sony projector, and individual ios apps for Roku, Oppo, Lutron, etc. Pretty much the exact opposite of what we do normally. Several months ago my former co-worker wired a wall switch to control the blackout and sun shades and remove their control from the AMX app. It was a breath of fresh air for me actually.

And I got a lot of cleaning and organizing done on the truck. Half day tomorrow is also on the docket. Winning.

I took this week off, my mom passed away at the end of last week. Have not accomplished anything more than busy work the last few days. Trying to get my head back in the game, but am struggling.

I am feeling good. I closed three jobs this week. We have been rather slow as of late but the stars have aligned for us this week. Good projects and nice clients.

Nothing fancy or new. Just good old simple systems.

I have lost a few really good jobs in the last few weeks but the world balances out I guess.

Hope everyone else gets busy (if you weren't already).

I didn't even see that. I cannot express how sorry I am for the loss. Take all the time you need to spend with family. Work will always be there.
