Directv H20 receiver Viewsonic N3251w TV I've tried 3 different inexpensive remotes, and have yet to find one to work either component. It's for my bedroom, so I don't want to spend a whole lot of money. I only have 3 requirements: 1. Operate the TV 2. Operate the Directv receiver 3. Light up Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

The URC database has the H20 and the N3250W if that is the same as the N3251W. I would assume Harmony has the same also.

I'm guessing those will work, but I was hoping to find something for a little less money. I may just have to break down and spend more than I was hoping.

These universal remotes have preset code for the H20, and all are learning if there isn't code for the viewsonic: URC R5, R7, RF10, RF20, and RF30, the H20 code in each is sat 173. The sony RM-VL600, H20 code is sat 3214. OFA urc-6960 H20 code is SAT 1377. and the RCA rcr-815, code is SAT 5094.

I went with the URC R7. Viewsonic code didn't work, but learning function did. Works great so far. Thanks for all the input.

The R7 is an excellent remote! I've been playing with one for over a week now and if I didn't have access to higher end remotes, it would definitely be in my top 3 for a regular button remote in the price range. And the quality will not be an issue. Good buy! Could you put in a User Review when you have used it for a few months please? Greg

I'll try and remember to come back and share my experience. It seems like for the money, it's a solid buy, and perfect for my bedroom. The Viewsonic TV seemed to be a sticking point, but thankfully, the R7's learning function was a breeze.
