Anyone have any good brands for recessed cans with dimmable (and controllable) LED lamps?

You need to break it up into three different parts.

1. The recessed can > any companies can will work, it's just a base for the light.

2. The LED light > There are alot of companies that claim that their bulbs are dimmable. Stick with quality companies and make sure they are compatable with #3.

3. Dimming control system > Lutron, Lutron, Lutron. Lutron has more engineers than all other lighting control companies combined. They have a wider range of products. Heck, they invinted dimming lights. See what brands and bulbs are controllable by whatever system you go with.

And you are in New Zeland, while the original poster is in Florida. Do you think you could post a little more info, like what exactly you are refering to that would help him? Also, he stated that he wanted good brands, not cheap brands.

If you go to your local electrical whole seller , ask them for LED Fittings and a LED transformer with a 0 to 10 V DC or 1 to 10V Dc control input .

With the module we have designed , it will control 4 Outputs 0 to 10v Dc or 1 to 10v all independant, with adjustable fade times , looks very nice :)
