The RM-VL710 is replaced by the VL-600 which is cheaper ($25 in stores) and more features (8 components instead of 5) and it has an improved key layout as suggested in the review for the RM-VL710 on this forum. No reason at all to spend more for less even if one could find a discontinued '710 - go for the '600 while its available now in the stores!
