I read that the AV3100 has a new code set 4102 to have video1 - video6. Is there any way to get this code set into AV3000? I have a Sony Wega that uses video5 & 6 and I want to gain access to them directly without toggling through the input one at a time.

Thanks!

You heard wrong. Codes beginning with 4 are for receivers, codes for tv begin with 8. There is only one tv code for Sony-8001. Your 4102 code sounds familiar, but I can't place where I saw it. Maybe someone can help out on this.

To learn how to get video 5 and 6, see this thread [Link: remotecentral.com]

There is a code (not sure if it is 4102 or not) that you can enter on an unused component *(MD) this code gives you discrete TV inputs 1 thru 9, including the tv tuner. Not all of them work, I dont have one in front of me now, but I think vid 7 and 0 (tv tuner ) didnt work. This code also hase reciever inputs for AV1 and AV2. The only way yo get them into the 3000 is to learn them in from the 3100.
Or do as Ron said, that works also.

The code is 4106

Here is the link that I was reading about the code set. It is actually 4106 not 4102.

Look at the last paragraph on the page.

There's no way to use that on the RM-AV3000. That's an RM-AV3100 inclusion. Remember, in a macro you can send Video 4 (which is on the RM-AV3000) followed by two regular Inputs.
