In our area, yes.

Note:  due to changes, not all information in this link is accurate

True, but using "..Digital TV Market Listing for WKBW-TV"
From your link {Thank You} I can see now what will and what has plans
for changing their UHF RF channel.

I was wondering about that, for a few minutes I picked up something on Rf16 this morning. As I said before, for the old legacy tuner I have to manually edit its proprietary channel lists before doing a channel map in the Cliff Watson EPG Project. For the HD Homerun tuners, just a rescan, like a regular TV. I lost that NPR RADIO that was on WNED's 17.4, though SiliconDust's setup calls it CH31-10 with a guide number of 5001.
Fox 29 actually became weaker for me, but that's OK, they've had nothing for me since GOTHAM ended. Still looking forward to watching the WNYO-MyTV and its subs though reception strength was hovering at ~44% ATT. Yet WNED and its subs come in stronger now at 94%.

Thanks for the info.
I bunged up the formatting, you got a lot of what looks like hexadecimal there, or maybe its this board. Sorry.

Buffalo repack March 13th my take ; WNED will be going slightly up higher and slightly more power;WNYO moving closer to Grand Island BUT becoming very directional away from Canada so big decrease in the signal into Canada;WKBW more power will be stronger.WVTT will still be out of range of the GTA.

You seem to hit the nail right on the head there Rob, this afternoon WNYO doesn't even register on my HD Homerun tuners, no signal.
No more nostalgia programmes? {I'm including the loss of WBBZ, after 5-7 years of being spoiled with classic Batman and Superman, gone last fall}

Signals on RF 40, 41, 47 are gone. CITY is on both RF 44 and RF 18 right now. I suspect RF 44 will disappear soon.

Global is on RF 17 virtual 41.1
Omni1 is on RF 30, virtual 47.1
Omni2 is on RF 26, virtual 40.1

And now CITY on RF 44 is gone.

So the Toronto RF channels are now 8, 17 to 20 inclusive, 25-26, 30.
The Hamilton RF channels are 14-15, 35
The Buffalo RF channels (that I receive - some of you might get some others) are 16, 24, 31-34 inclusive, 36.

Yep, and while I am receiving RF17, its weaker then before and according to rabbitears their output is less than the original 100kw, is there anyway to force them to return to 100Kw? Phone Global up and curse 'n swear?
Light a fire under someone's arse? Mother Nature is still analogue, with regard to the electromagnetic spectrum, the power level should be the same as when they were broadcasting analogue.

When did CKVP-DT go to RF 29, on what date? I've been physically ill [not COVID] for over a month and having trouble mapping my PVR's properly.
Schedules Direct is filling the EPG correctly, however....

It doesn't help that for over 12 hours there's been no signal on RF42 or RF29 for the PVR s/w to lock on to. As a result, I've missed the first episode of the new season of W5 [can't get, could never get CFTO since those bastards went digital and cut output power]

Sept 30:
The HDHomerun tuner is picking it up now, but not the MDP-130 in the main box, the HDHR being the networked tuner, for computer use. So one work-around is to record W5 and Question Period on the computer for playback with Pot Player. However, if they had set up their Fonthill transmitter correctly, like it was on RF42, the old MyHD MDP-130 should still be able to receive them on RF29.

What is happening to some Buffalo stations?

ION gone out of business?
Bunch of switch-arounds.

Bruce, all the Buffalo stations are still here, just some have moved around. You probably need to re-scan.

ION (virtual 51) broadcasts on RF 24 moving there last summer, also moving from a tower in Pavilion, NY (Genesee County) to a tower in Wyoming County formally used by Virtual 49. Ch 49 moved to RF 16 on Grand Island for a short time.

From information I have been able to find but not verify, after only a few months, RF 16 started being used for ATSC 3 broadcasting by virtual channels 2, 4, 7, 29 and 49.

What I do know is virtual 49 is now scattered across the other stations in the ATSC test:
49-1 on RF 32 (ch 29)
49-2 on RF 34 (ch 7)
49-3 on RF 33 (ch 2)
49-4 on RF 36 (ch 4)

Re-scanning your tuner will pick these up providing you can receive all the RF channels.

Well that's probably going to depend on your equipment. Mine wouldn't pick up Ch 49 without a re-scan.

For a rescan to work, wouldn't you need an ATSC 3 tuner, I get all the channels except Comet and its co-subchannels don't seem to come in anymore.

All the channels are still working at ATSC 1.0. The ones at 3.0 are active and would need a special box to view them. Not all Buffalo stations are running 3.0. Not many boxes out there to view those channels yet. I believe there is one called HDHomerun box that has 3.0.
