My problems are WIVB and its sharing with the CW, it might be my outdoor equipment needs replacing {installed 2004} because they come in stronger on the indoor antennae, hence I've had to adjust the PVR settings.

On the other hand, I wonder if CFTO going to RF8 might be enough to interfere with my previously strong {40%} reception of WBBZ and its subs
on RF7.

Either way, CFTO has always been too wimpy for me to get here in Welland, it came in years ago after the initial set up of the outdoor, but then dropped after the first few months past conversion. That's okay though, all their crap is US, which can be torrented and as for W5 I can get the repeat, along with Question Period rerun off Fonthill's Barrie repeater.

EDIT: Question for OBICO; only because at my age my wetware is like Swiss cheese. Will CKVP Fonthill be staying on RF42? or moving? On one strange note, the HD Homerun reads the Fonthill CKVP as 42.1 but the much older MDP-130s schedule captures for those two shows as RF42.2, according to the 130's "Reservations" dialogue box. Might be the hardware, or does that Fonthill repeater output two sub-channels?

Sorry for the delay in responding.

CKVP-DT Fonthill will (as mandated to a lower frequency) be moving to RF  during phase 9, between March 14 and May 01, 2020.  No change in parameters (ERP 3.5 kW).

Note:  This will conflict with  CHEX-DT-2 Oshawa and  WTDB-LP Buffalo.

There are no sub-channels.  Newer digital sets can display channels differently.  I've been told that CHEX-1 Peterborough can either be shown as 12-1 or 29-1 depending on the set.

NOTIFICATION-CORRECTION:

When CKVP-DT moves to  in May 2020, its average ERP will drop from 1.29 kW to 1.25 kW, its max ERP will drop from 5.0 kW to 3.77 kW.  Note the change in patterns.  Better strength north and south, worse east and west.

If you had trouble receiving WIVB before when they were broadcasting from Colden, you will now have the same trouble again with WIVB and WNLO, though broadcasting by 10 kW stronger.

Delays, Delays, Delays...

Anyone who is receiving WXXI-DT Rochester, please note the FCC has granted them a STA.  They will be broadcasting from a side mount antenna on their tower 20.5 lower than their current antenna and at a reduced ERP of 91.0 kW down from 131.0 kW on .   [Link: enterpriseefiling.fcc.gov]

Both WJET-DT and WFXP Erie have filed for STAs, but I'm told that WJET-DT is still a go for  for August 02.

Anyone know what the heck's happened to CIII-DT Paris?
It's been almost a week since it seems to have gone off the air.
A few others over on the Digital Home forum have also remarked they can no longer receive the station.
Usually it's been a very strong local signal for me.
I tried emailing Global Toronto, but predictably got no response; don't have a clue who oversees transmitter site maintenance ever since Corus tookover Shaw Media's assets.
Even if they're doing work related to the latest round of UHF repack, it doesn't seem right that they'd just stop broadcasting completely for a week straight.

Hi Guys,
Anyone know what happened today? 36.1 has moved to 14.1. Looks like CBS and CW is now on UHF 36 instead of UHF 23, and Fox 29.1 has moved as well to 32? I get better reception on Fox now, but am worried about CBS as it is weak. I noticed the main page (remotecentral.com/hdtv) hasn't been updated in a while.
