Hey Bruce, welcome to the worl of BDTs (Brain Dead Threads). The Ceremony Chap thread is the original BDT, but there are others. The funny thing is, the StreetDude thread was originally intended to try and correct some of this, but it backfired in a major way.
Truth is, any thread with a poor subject title like "Need Code For Remote" is going to be hi-jacked by the idiots who can't read, let alone program a remote. But as you say, some of it good for a laugh.
My personal favorite is the one from the guy with a Philips Pronto looking for codes! How the hell did a guy like that even get his hands on a Pronto!
