Hey Mate,
I know this isn't relevant to this thread but i am having
trouble trying to set up my IMON remote with MEdiaportal.
I read a thread of yours from a while back and you wrote
that you have a .imo file to add all the settings for
mediaportal to the IMON remote set up. Is there any way
you could send me that file or help me out trying to set
up my IMON remote with MEdiaportal?

Any help would be awesome. You can message me or email
me at [email protected]

Thanks a lot.

You have mail.

Hi,
I also have the iMon pad remote but am having no luck learning the buttons. A couple work but most do not and learning the joypad directions actually causes my tsu7000 to hang!
Could someone send me a PCF with the codes in? You'd be a life saver.. :)

Thanks gusangora, The pad direction codes are working now which is great.
I'm getting a nasty delay though, and sometimes I have to press twice before the PC reacts. Is that normal?

Stupid question, but what are the .imo files for? Are they for Win Media Center?

I found a pdf of the imon ir spec on a different thread so I'm going to try a decipher these codes today. I have the hex codes for each command that the VFD recieves from my linux config files. They are all like '0x289395B7' but I should be able to translate them somehow.. we'll see.

Well it took longer than I'd hoped but I finally deciphered the hex codes. I though I'd write a quick note for the benefit of anyone struggling as I was..

Took me a while before i realised that each burst pair defines Nx0s and Mx1s with the duration of the on and off bursts defining N and M , i.e on for 11 = 0, 31 = 00, 51 = 000, then off for 31 = 1, 51 = 11, 71 = 111 etc with the hex numbers increasing by 32 (in decimal) for every extra digit.

So: 0031 0051 0011 0071 = 00110111

lucie_fear's Excel sheet from the 'iMon HTPC Integration with TSU7000' thread was a big help... once I understood it :)

I've generated clean codes for all the buttons with repeats and they're working well.
Getting the repeat working for the pad was a pain. A note for anyone else trying.. the code needs to be repeated twice in Burst Pair Sequence 1 and just once in Sequence 2.

Anyway, to all who have posted about the iMon, thanks for the help.

Would it be possible to get a copy of your configuration file please? I'm still struggling to get my TSU7500 working reliably with the iMon.

Thanks,

Paul

Hello,
I too would like to try your codes.
I still occasionally have an issue whereby a remote code is 'double' sent, that is, the function occurs twice with a single press. It's only very occasional but can be annoying when it's the 'pause' button that it effects (the screen pauses for a second or two and then resumes again). Luckily, it is infrequent.
This issue only occurs with Mediaportal, not Vista Media centre.
Thanks,
Steve
nb the .imo file was for use with Mediaportal.

Hi Putin

I would greatly appreciate a copy of the IMon Codes. I'm having a heck of a time getting the codes into My Pronto.

Thanks in advance

OK, I'll send you what I have when I get home.
To be honest I'm finding it still needs a little work. I think the timing of the mouse commands are a bit off.
Once I'm happy with it I'll upload to the files section.

Just to let you know, I tried those codes and along with the new beta iMon software (not yet publically available, you have to ask) now have full control over Vista 64-bit Media Centre!

Thanks very much,

Paul
