Hoping someone can help, codes being "doubled"
I have a HTPC with a Silverstone case, LC20M, which is supplied with an iMon remote pad (I believe from Soundgraph).
I am using Mediaportal for media viewing (DVD, recorded TV/videos and live digital TV). I obtained an .imo file for the iMon remote from another user at Mediaportal and this works perfectly between the iMon remote and Mediaportal however when I learnt the commands into the Pronto, each command is being doubled/sent twice. The same happens when I use my Yamaha learning remote to copy from the iMon.
Below are a couple examples of the learnt codes. Hoping someone can decipher the error.
Pause = 0000 006B 000B 0000 0030 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0030 0030 0051 0030 0051 0030 0011 0030 0011 0051 0011 0051 0011 0030
1 = 0000 006C 000B 0000 002F 002F 0011 002F 004F 002F 0011 004F 0011 002F 0011 004F 002F 002F 0011 002F 0011 004F 0011 004F 0011 002F
6 = 0000 006B 000C 0000 0030 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0030 0030 0011 0050 0030 0030 0011 0030 0011 0050 0011 0050 0011 0030
I tried using duration set to .01 seconds but no different (still double send of the command).
Thanks in advance,
Steve
nb I found a couple of iMon codes in the files section but these don't work with my config.

Does the same thing happen for codes that are in macros compared to standalone?

Ive got the same silverstone case, and have managed to learn the codes ok. If I have problems learning a new device I go back to my good old trusty RU940. It has never failed to learn codes and even managed to learn an ir keyboard.

I can email you a PCF with most of the iMon codes if you like.
TSU9600, TSU9400, RFX9600, RFX9400, RU980, RU950, and the good old RU890 which stilll learns codes none of the others will!

Unfortunately, many do not work (no response). At least those that do work are not being 'doubled', so it was definitely helpful.
All I really need now is the numbers/digits, to enable direct TV channel selection, rather than scrolling.
The following is your working 'pause' code, which is longer than the one that I had learnt (see above), which sends a double signal, if this helps to decipher the problem:
Pause = 0000 006B 0017 0000 0030 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0030 0030 0051 0030 0051 0030 0011 0030 0011 0051 0011 0051 0011 1B93 0030 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0030 0030 0051 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 0051 0011 0051 0011 0030

Hi Dave,

I have the PCF file, thanks. I'll give it a try over the weekend and will post my results.

Dave,

I haven't tried the codes yet, but it looks like your iMon remote is different to mine. Mine has buttons yours does not and vice-versa (mine for example has buttons like My DVD, My Music etc.). I wonder if this is the same remote (unfortunately, mine has no identifying markings, other than a serial number inside the battery compartment).

I wonder if some LC20M cases are shipped with different remotes (US vs. UK version perhaps)?

Yes, that looks the same ad mine. The extra buttons I'd be interested in are the My DVD etc. buttons down at the bottom as I plan to use those to launch different applications from the remote.

I'll try to give the codes a try tonight...

That is also the same as my remote. I now have everything working with MediaPortal and when outside of MP, I can use the launch application feature and also use within Real Player. I have not tried other programs.
To solve the 'digits' problem, I learnt "shift"+"1" etc for all digits.
Happy to email a pcf to anyone interested.

Hey Mate,
I know this isn't relevant to this thread but i am having trouble trying to set up my IMON remote with MEdiaportal. I read a thread of yours from a while back and you wrote that you have a .imo file to add all the settings for mediaportal to the IMON remote set up. Is there any way you could send me that file or help me out trying to set up my IMON remote with MEdiaportal?

Any help would be awesome. You can message me or email me at [email protected]

Thanks a lot.
