Just wondering what the differences are, so I can decide if the extra money (seems to be around $35) is worth it. Also, will files/graphics created for the 3000 work on the 3500? Thanks

Both have reviews within this site... The differences will be listed here: [Link: remotecentral.com] I'll leave it to you to use the review section to look up what the 3000 had originally. Another search within this forum for the file conversion would have given you this: [Link: remotecentral.com] The search engine and/or the FAQ can greatly help you with these types of concerns.

I read the review for the 3000. I didn't see one listed for the 3500. Thanks

Really wasn't a review per say. Just a brief discription of the differences. Hope it helped.... By the way, IMHO go for the 7000. It's worth the extra $$.

3500 has a bit more memory (8MB I think) and better tactile feel on the hard buttons.

From what I have read, the 3500's white backlight is far better than the 3000's blue (indigo?) backlight. I have a 3000 and I'll admit that it can be a little hard to see at times. I had to make my buttons a little larger than I would have liked.

The 3500 is much easier to read the LCD, plus the tactile feel Lyndel mentioned is a major plus. Looking back, I don't like the 3000's I have done much any more. And I have a lot of 3000's out there now,maybe a 100 of them or more. Still no comparison to 7000/7500's out there.

Does anyone Know if the 3500 has experienced the same non-responsive touchscreen problem that the 3000 has?

I've not heard of users reporting this on the 3500.

Thanks Pros: TSU3500 has LED panel Light (the 3000 got dim after some years of use); The RF increased range and the learning got better; Cons: Like in the 7000 series the hard buttons light don't go on automatic with the pane;
