Robo. the 3000 works at 418MHz . European X10 works at 433.92MHz not the same frequency.

I am not sure abt it.(Mid 2003!).
"And will the iPronto be international?"- If u have meant the US & UK editions, I do not know the answer. The initial version will be an US version (TSI6400).

I can't imagine that a European-based corporation such as Philips would not release it in their home market of over 300 million people...

I apologise for posing the question again, however I'm still not clear on one thing - Does the only difference between the US model TSU3000, and Euro/World model RU950 lie in it's RF emitting spec's? or would there be other differences too? Legalities and Spectrum allocations aside, will the TSU3000 be able to controll IR and/or RF devices outside of the United states. One would presume the answer would be "Yes", but I have to be sure. Many thanks for your help,

Since the 3000 is not out and there are no specs on the 950, I don't think anyone knows. In general, they tend to be mostly the same will the TSU3000 be able to controll IR and/or RF devices outside of the United states. IR is yes, but I would assume RF is no. There is a guy that describes how to build an RFtoRF converter, minimally you would need something like that to recreate the right RF frequency |
