To be able to create the CCF, I need access to the timing of the IR codes. That means getting hold of a B&O remote somehow, to capture the timing with a digital storage ocilloscope (several thousand dollar's worth of test equipment). I don't own any B&O equipment, and am unlikely to purchase any.

Please understand that I'd love to help, but I'm doing this on my own time, and out of my own pocket. I can't hope to help everyone, I'd go broke buying equipment I'd never use for anything else.

For example, I'd like to help with the Sony two-way remotes, too, but I'd have to spend about a grand, since just ordering the remote through Sony parts won't help (since it's two-way).

The B&O equipment I am familiar with uses a 455 Khz carrier frequency instead of the much lower 45..60 Khz. Can the Pronto go that high?

Pronto is capable of transmitting IR codes with carrier frequenciess much higher than 455 kHz. It's capturing codes with a carrier frequency above about 60 kHz that's not supported.

If the carrier and bit timing for a code is known (or can be determined by some means, e.g. with test equipment) then a suitable IR code description can be synthesized from that information. ProntoEdit then allows it to be included in a CCF, and uploaded to a Pronto.

Will the information on how to describe a command to the pronto be available so that we can experiment?
