Hi!
I have been an enthusiastic Pronto owner (TSU2000) for many years. Together with a "Lightmanager Air" the possibilities are still limitless.
Now I have a little question: I would like to always start with the same page in a macro group. The problem is that the last page opened is always opened. How can I always start with the same page in a macro group? I would like to include a warning message that I must not forget before I start macros of this group ...
Thank you in advance for a little tip and best regards from Germany.

How are you getting to the macro? By pressing the on-screen macro drop-down or are you doing this via code that you have setup with ProntoEdit?

It has been years since I looked at ProntoEdit software but I seem to recall for the Philips TSU6000, the ActionList for a Device/MacroGroup had a Jump option at the end.

Check the ProntoEdit editor to see if there is not the ability to specify a Jump to a single page from the Macro Properties' Action List.

See Page 55 of the ProntoEdit 4 manual..

Hi Lyndel and thank you very much for help :)

I have 2 Groups.
There is a Macro Group "Beamer" and a Macro Group "TV".
The Macro Group Beamer has 3 Pages.
I want to start every time on page 1.

The problem is that the Pronto always opens the last page used.

I configured "Jump"; but is ignored. I set everything up with the Pronto Edit software, not the Pronto's on-screen menu.

Do you know where the problem is?

The background is that I have a heater and I mustn't forget to turn the heater off before I shut down the screen.
Therefore the macro "Beamer" must start with the warning message on page 1 ...

Edit: I think "Jumps" don´t work correctly in Macro Groups

Edit2: It works if I add another command in addition to the "Jump". So e.g. a delay. But then it only works when I switch from "Macro" to "Macro" and not when I switch from the normal menu to a macro. Then the last opened page opens again.

Yes, the extra delay was required on the marantz 5000i. I do remember that part. :-)
How about not using macrogroups and only devices? Tried that? My sincere apologies on this one. It has been over 15 years since i used this model of pronto. I am recalling lots from memory. If you are touching screen and jumping between devices and macro groups, i think this is the expected behavior. Could you use the left/right button to initiate a macro that would jump to the page in question?

On another note...
Personally, i loved the marantz derivative as it supported multiple jumps whereas the philips unit did not.

Hello and thank you very much for the help! :) I have now done the following: My Macro Group now only contains one page. From this page I can then jump to a "Macro" with one Button. However, this macro is not a macro, but a normal device. Thats how it works! Thanks again :) I bought the Pronto RU940 (TSU-2000) back in 2001. In the meantime, I use one in the bedroom and one in the living room. I also bought 4 or 5 pieces as a reserve;) cheaply used.

Together with the "Light Manager Air" the possibilities are practically unlimited.

The Light Manager Air can send and receive commands via LAN, WIFI, TCP, radio, infrared, Alexa etc. etc. There is practically nothing that does not work with the Pronto, because it can also generate a suitable Pronto command for each command, which it then understands again later.

I don't even know the Marantz parts. I thought the functionality would be the same as with Philips? Best regards Surfy

The Marantz RC5000i supported multiple jumps in the action list which allowed you to do system startup animations, for example.

I did have another thought. If you 'hide' the pages you don't want to jump to, does the remote always jump to the previous page or does it jump to the 'visible' page?

Hi Lyndel,
So I want to do the following: I have 3 pages in the macro. The "landing page" should always be page 1. If I hide pages 2 and 3, I always end up at page 1. However, then I can no longer use pages 2 and 3 ...?! It would be nice if all 3 pages were in the "Macros" section, but at the moment it works if I have page 1 in the Macros section and pages 2 and 3 on the normal devices.
Many greetings Surfy

I realize you have it working but was not sure if this might help make things easier. Not having seen your config, I thought about this 2nd way and thought I would point it out.

You are correct in that if a page is hidden, you can only get to it via a Jump from an ActionList.

Thank you again, I think I'll leave it at solution 1. Simply because otherwise I would have problems jumping to page 3.
