I know its off subject however I was interested in purchasing either a palm pilot or a philips nino. I read that palm pilot was upgrading mid 99 to color screen and half the thicknesss. I was just looking for comments on either of the products. And yes I love my Pronto, I just need the software!!!

Without a moments hesitation, I can (and often do) recommend the Pilot -- no I don't work for Palm (or any other division of 3Com) :-)

I am reviews editor at a computer magazine, and so, trust me when I say that I play with a lot of gadgets. I've tried them all and have always gone back to my Pilot. It's extremely simple to use, well designed and has a huge third party following -- there are thousands of really neat applications (many share- and freeware).

thanks Kevin, Thats about all the info I need. I'm buying mine today. Is it true that you can purchase real time mapping software with GPS capability for it?
