Philips Award-Winning Pronto Remote Now Offers More Control for Home Entertainment Systems

Some great news, it was offically announced that the software will be available on the site for free in January 1999.

Philips also won an award for the Pronto -
"Pronto won the CES
Innovations Award for remote controls within the integrated home systems
category."

I cant wait for it! I hope everyone is as excited as I am.

Indeed the Philips people are proud of the award and rightfully so as Pronto is certainly award winning and innovative.
As you stated, Philips reiterated that ProntoEdit software will be released this month, although no firm date at this time.
