I am having a problem bringing up any screen on the Pronto after it times out. When I start up the Pronto I get the Pronto animation and then the home screen, I thought after a period of inactivity that is what happens. While using the Pronto I let it time out to a blank screen(20 secs), and when I touch the scrren it should bring up the last template screen that I was on. I have to hold my finger on the screen or a hard button for 2 seconds to wake it up(back to Pronto animation). Hopefully someone has the solution for me. Thanks in advance.

Warren,
Does it come right back if you press the baclight key on the side? If so, I woudl recalibrate teh touchscreen. If not, I would suspect the possibility of a corrupted file. I would also check battery strength indicator as I would expect Pronto to get slugish with low battery power. Teh batteries may be new but this does not mean that they are all necessarily good.
I hope this helps.

I had the same problem when I brought my Pronto home the first night. I called tech support and they just said to return it. I did and haven't had any problems since. I think it is some kind of a short to the batteries because you get the same response when you replace the batteries...the long wait then the logo then the home menu.

I have the problem no matter what button I hit. The battery indicator shows full strength. If I have a corrupt file will the software fix it, or do I have to start all over on the programming. Will resetting the Pronto to new correct the corrupt file.
