I can't seem to locate anywhere online to buy the pronto? Can someone post places to purchase along with what the going price is?

Thanks!

As a person who has been "surfing" this web site for a few weeks now, I couldn't resist a reply to this post. Brooks, if you would just scan down thru the other posts, there are two or three similar questions as yours that have have been answered already.

It all boils down to availability and whether you are willing to wait awhile to save as much as $100!! AVI Electronics sells them for $299 as does the Stereo Trading Outlet, but they have none in stock. If you want to pay full MSRP of $399, there are some available here on the board. I believe QAudio had some for $349 but they are probably gone by now.

Personally, I am going to wait. I want to see how this "do everything" software works out and see if the availability improves and prices come down some. Even at $300, that is alot of money to spend to sit on your butt and get rid of a few other remotes (mine DO NOT sit on the "coffee table"...so my wife is not upset about them!!)
I also do not use all my remotes, besides the TV,
everyday so maybe I am not the best sounding board for this. I do have other interests besides HT and music.

Equpiment:
Carver 705x 5-channel amp
Carver CT-17 preamp
Nakamichi CD Player2
Sony VCR
Sony EP9ES DD decoder
Sony S3000 DVD player
Sony 35V35 TV
Paradigm Monitor 9's, CC-350, ADP-350 surrounds...
and looking at subs.

Have a good one...Jack

Thanks for the reply. I have read all of the messages on the pronto borad already. I'm just looking for some more places to shop that may have not been mentioned....

The only other one I have found is The Stereo Trading Outlet at $299.99. I believe the web site is www.tsto.com. I sent them an e-mail to inquire about availability, but have not heard back from them yet.

Is there a list of select dealers that carry the pronto online? Could anybody out there tell me if any mail-order catalogs suppliers also carry the pronto? (Online address if possible please)
