Akai's "Voire" sets use the NEC1 protocol with a device code of 96.157
I've checked my files of OFA codes and there isn't a match for that, so no OFA or UEI remotes that I know have a built in code that will work Voire TV sets. I see that there have been a number of new posts asking for the code for this-or-that OFA/UEI remote to work a Voire TV. Like I said before, there isn't a code in any OFA/UEI remotes that I know of that will work these sets. If your OFA/UEI remotes is JP1 compatible, you can add the code yourself using JP1 or I can sell you a remote with the code preloaded ( click here for more info).

When I hook up my Cox DVR box to my television (Viore Model#PDP42V18) the picture is black & white & the sound is not that loud.. .. i cannot figure out why its doing this. I'm not sure if I am hooking it up wrong or what. When I connect a regular antenna to the "ANT1 / DTV" and put the input on DTV, everything is perfect. Can someone PLEASE help me figure this out. I also am trying to figure out the code to program my cox cable remote. Thank you!! ANy info will help!

Success! We managed to get the Direct TV remote to control our Viore PDP42V18HA by setting up the remote to control the TV under the AV1 input (instead of the TV input) and using the code search. When doing the code search and the TV responds, make sure you hit the Select button immediately (or you might as well start the process over). Also, cover all the other A/V components' sensors (we used a towel) so that they cannot interfere. Unfortunately, we cannot verify the code selected per the procedure outlined in the Direct TV manual (p.11 at [Link: directv.com]) because the green light does not blink, so I can't post what the final code was, but the Direct TV remote is now controlling our Viore TV for every function.

| The 5 digit codes listed below also work to program comcast cable remotes, I tried it out of dispare and it worked, I used 10702. thanks!!!! P.S. DirecTV's on-screen programming does list numerous electronic manufacturing firms including Akai. The 5-digit codes for Akai are as follows: 10702, 10030,10672. 'Tried programming these codes into the DirecTV remote for the above described Viore model ----nothing.

I have a viore 26 inch LCD TV. I have been looking over the posts and haven't found one about my particular TV. I am trying to get my Directv remote to control the TV but can't get it to work. I tried using the search for codes feature where you hold select and mute until the light blinks twice then enter 991 then 1, hit power off and do channel up and sometimes when doing this the tv will turn off so I hit select then switch back to the DTV setting and hit select but the tv will not turn back on in either mode. I have also entered the codes found in these threads and nothing works. Can anyone help me out here.
