I just purchased a new nevo sl black (from a dealer), and everythings going fairly smooth. My only current issue im having is today I received a battery warning.

It stated main battery power is low, please replace the battery at your next optional time. Contact the manufacturer if you need instructions on how to recharge, or replace the battery.

Does this mean the main battery is dead, or is this just a typical warning when I need to recharge it.

Typically after a full charge it lasts about 5 and haf to 6 hours out of the cradle.

Can anyone chime in on what this means, and if i should be worried or not?

Hi,

I get that warning when the battery is getting real flat.

Nothing to worry about if you are getting 5-6 hours of use*.

Are you using wifi?
What are your screen brightness and timout settings?

Thanks for the response.

Im actually getting 4 and half hours, tested it last night.

However wifi always on, screen brightness on half. Only leave screen brightness on for 30 seconds.

I timed it last night, started at 8, and by 12:30 it warned me to put it back in its cradle.

I assume their is not much else you can do. Someone posted about installing a better battery, but he never posted a follow up.

Obviously it would void the warranty but its a good idea, if it can be done.

Is 4 and half normal?

So far I love the remote, i guess if it is normal I will just have to remember to set it in the cradle whenever im not using it instead of just setting it on the table.

On full Wi-Fi that is about the norm.

As yet I have not seen anyone post the model number of a bigger battery that works with the SL. There have been many posts though talking about it.

You could put the screen timer down to 15sec but that won’t make a massive difference.
