In order to achieve energy saving for my audio- and video equipment in the standby-mode they are disconnected during the night with a timer switch, the Nevo Connect NC-50 is also disconnected. It seems that this gives a problem in the morning when the audio- and video equipment is in the standby-mode, the NC-50 included. The first command of the remote control (Nevo S 70) results in a red triangle which quickly disappears, sometimes the first received command codes are missing. After that the Nevo S 70 works good during the rest of the day.
My question is: is it necessary that the Nevo connect NC-50 is permanently connected to the mains supply?

If it is an issue then add a "dummy code" to your macro. This will make sure everything has woken up correctly.
Also. Have you performed a system optimize?

I think you should just put the NevoConnect on a separate outlet that doesn't switch off and call it a day. Call me superstitious, but when I get things working, I leave it.
I would think that the NevoConnect would consume much less power than any of your other AV devices, so hopefully this shouldn't add too much to your energy bill. :-)
