2 of my clients are complaining of crappy batteries on their mostly new S70's.
its fine cause its under warranty, but is this something i should be nervous about when selling these?

one client says he cant get 2 hours out of it as of late,
the other one says that not even 5 minutes goes by before it starts beeping.

I certainly hope not, I am working on moving into the NEVO arena and getting away from RTI for this same reason. And a few others.

I have had a S70 in my living room since the release. We rarely think about putting it on the charger. Battery life is fine. However wifi is not enabled right now.

The only thing I don't like about the remote is having to double tap the screen to get it to send a command when it has been sleeping.

i think you can change that option in the "configuration system settings". look for the icon two to the left of the "Download Configuration" button in Studiopro. (it looks like two gears) Click on that, and go to the Other Settings tab and uncheck the "Execute command on button pressed after power resumed" box.

I havent tried playing with that option, but it sounds like that may be what is giving you the trouble. personally, i like not accidentally putting in a command if i accidentally tap the screen, but thats just me.

Fortunately the batteries are accessible unlike the Q50. I am sure they can easily be ordered when the time comes. Right now I would argue the problem lies in the settings
