Hi,

I've recently purchased a Nevo SL which to date has been nothing short of outstanding. However, one issue is that after 5+ minutes of none use the remote seems to take 2-3 seconds to wake up (i.e. backlight turns on although buttons do not respond) thereafter the remote work perfectly. Has anybody had similar problems and if so have they been able to resolve them.

Note: As of yet i have not done any software updates should they be available.

it powers off after a preset amount of time, then requires a few seconds to wake up. you can change these settings i believe in the settings screen on the unit itself.(top left hand corner)

there is a download available but i think it revolves around the use of Wifi and reserving the battery life. i dont use wifi but did the download anyway for the heck of it. sign in at mynevo.com and they have a video that walks you through the process. you can actually watch the video while you are getting the download - i just paused it to give me time to take the steps they indicated. it was very simple....

PS: i just got the Nevo too -isnt it AWESOME!?!? its almost my favourite home theatre toy simply due to the fact i get to play with and enjoy it every 2 minutes with my constant tweaking and what not!

You have to change to power settings via the NevoStudio software then download it into your unit. Otherwise the settings won't be maintained.
