I have a Samsung 52A750. Just got the Q50 nevo. I want to program GAME mode in my activity "Play PS3" . The Samsung remote is about 7 button presses to get to GAME mode. I am hoping someone can point me to the discrete hex code for this. I have seen plenty on the inputs of code, but not something like moving from MOvie mode, Game Mode, and Dymanic Mode. I am just interested in Game mode.

Well, I will as I go along this week. I dont see a specific entry for GAME mode, but maybe one of the picture modes is the correct one.

GAME mode is on this remote and advertised as a 'feature' on a the DLP this remote goes to... i think it is a 2007 TV..

My TV is 2008, and instead of GAME mode button, I have E.Mode which toggles 4 states.

Have you tried the online database?

I just did a search for samsung BP59-00125A.

The first hit had the "game" command.

What is the 'online database' ? I have searched the forums and files section both. I found a file with an MXD file, but I can not open this with notepad and read it. I opened it in a hex editor and I can tell it is some hex codes for a TV, but it is not readable enough to tell which ones. I have researched getting an editor for MXD files, but I have not done that yet. Is this the file you are referring to? If it is, what editor are you using to view the MXD files?

In NevoStudio Pro when you add an IR code there is an online option.

use that.

No need to learn or convert anything.

I understand now the online database and how to add devices. I had to search however on the DLP TV model to get the game mode button listing. It will be friday before I can try the code to see if it works.

thanks
