With the NevoConnect and voltage sensor, can you trigger an event off the voltage sensor input? For example, can I have a doorbell or phone call sensor send a DC trigger to NevoConnect, which then fires an event on a Q50 to 'goto' a page that says 'Doorbell' or 'Phone Call'? This way, I don't have to interrupt anything visual or audible during a movie (I just get a nice display on the remote that can be easily ignored, if I feel like it).

This is something that's commonly done in high-end control systems, but just wondering if a Nevo can muster it...

Hi,

At this moment no. The sensors are a load/check once per instance. They are not constantly monitored.

Maybe someday if we get a processor that has the grunt to constantly monitor for changes on the system.

That would be awesome! Has anyone heard of anyone doing anything like the iPhone Jalbreak for the Nevo? I'd love to be able to really program this thing, if it's running WinCE and .NET, should be a breeze to code it, just need it opened up. Any thoughts?

The hardware in the NC-50 needs to support it.

It doesn't.

So no.....
