I had a NEVO SL for the last 3 years and i was very happy but i had to replace it this week because its touch screen was totally unresponsive. I purchased a new Nevo S70 and i easily converted my nvo project into an nvj file and downloaded it in my new Nevo S70. Even though i programmed my project by myself i surely am not an expert NEvo Studio Pro programmer and i would like your help and your lights on the following 3 issues:

1. How can i setup my NEvo S70 to be connected to my home wifi netowrok ? (i have a wifi network in the hose which is not locked and it does not have any password protection)
2. Can i use my new Nevo S70 to have access to some sports web pages to check the scores? I read from another person in the forums that he created some buttons with the http:// link and when he presses this button then he connects through his wifi network to a web page
2. Can i use my Nevo S70 to somehow control my curtains that unfortunately are RF controlled and not IR? I read some where that the Nevo S70 has RF signal sender...

well.... my suggestion would be to check out the mynevo site for a review of the NevoStudio Pro features... WiFi is now setup in NevoStudio as part of system settings for a NevoS70. Pretty easy... all the browser commands are also a simple URL you type in same as you would for serial or IR or a page jump.

As far as RF, NevoS70 has both WiFi and Z-Wave.... What does your curtain use? The new 2.0 pre-release software has direct control of Z-Wave curtains, lights, HVAC and more...

When you install the 2.0 software, you will get a series of new sample configurations.... check them out... here is one related to web pages and so forth: "2008-Nov - Preconfigured NevoS70 web site buttons"

if you look in your software you will see a little icon on the top bar that looks like 2 gears . .
click on that, then enter in your wifi info exactly how it should be. if anything is off it wont work . .

your ssid, your security, etc . .

your remote can access most websites,
but its better if you find the wap or m. versions of the site.
will format for the remote much better ..

just make a new button on the screen,
then in the actions windows where you would usually put in an ir command ,
you will see you a button that lets you enter in a url command . .


regarding curtains,
low chance unless it is already zwave.
