ive been using the video sensor and love it for SA Cable Boxes . . ive only used them on the 8300 HD so far . .
i tried to use it today on a 3250hd in manhattan with time warner cable . . i plug it in to the digital audio port and get a green light, but it doesnt turn off when the box turns off . .
i did splice the video sensor over cat5 , but i do it all the time without issue . . i did it in the same home actually with a 8300hd and it worked great.
i need to go back with another video sensor and plug it right in to the nevo connect just to make sure its not hte splice ..
(usually when i make a bad splice the light on the nevo connect is a yellowish red, when i do it correct the light is bright green)
any ideas?

Unplug the sensor and plug it back in, make sure it is in all the way. If it isn't then you can either get a red or green LED. when the box is off - the LED should not light up, when the box is on - then the LED should be Green.
