Folks,
I have tried all of the files online to find discrete codes that work with my customer's Xbox360 to no avail. Am I missing something? Is there an additional hardware component (xbox accessory) that is required? The unit is an out of the box Xbox 360 Elite! None of the codes seem to work... I believe the console is set to work with "all channels" and we have tried a few MCE code sets as well....

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Are you talking about Power On/Off discrete codes? When I added my Xbox360 using model based setup in NevoStudio Pro. I put "Microsoft" as the brand name and just entered in "360" as the model number. I selected the "Video Accessory" version.

The only problem is that there are no discrete Power On/Off commands given to you. I got those by finding hex commands here on remotecentral in the Pronto / Hex code section. Once I copied and pasted the discrete power commands from the web site, I could turn on and off my Xbox 360 with ease.

I have tried this and neither the customer's Xbox Elite nor our demo Xbox Elite will work... can you cut/paste the codes you used? We've used several from here without luck. What is your Xbox set to in the settings|remote section?

Thanks!

That's odd. In my settings|remote control section it says "All Channels".

Here is my Power Off command:
0000 006F 0020 0000 0061 0021 0011 0011 000F 0011 0010 0021 0011 0020 0031 0021 0010 0011 0010 0010 0012 000F 0011 0010 0010 0011 0010 0012 000F 0011 0010 0011 0010 0010 0013 000E 0021 0010 0011 0012 000F 0010 0010 0011 0011 0010 0012 000F 0010 0011 0010 0021 0021 0021 0010 0010 0011 0010 0011 0010 0021 0021 0021 0021 0010 0010 0021 0021

and here is my Power On command:
0000 006F 001F 0000 0061 0022 0011 0012 000E 0011 0010 0021 0012 001F 0031 0021 0010 0010 0010 0010 0012 000F 0011 0010 0010 0010 0010 0013 000E 0011 0010 0010 0011 000F 0011 0010 0021 0011 0010 0010 0011 0010 0011 0020 0021 0011 0010 0010 0010 0021 0021 0021 0010 0010 0011 0010 0011 0010 0021 0021 0021 0021 0020 0021 0010 0022

I hope this helps.

Excellent job - I have tried every other code I could find, and the codes you have listed, above, were the only codes that have worked. I appreciate it very much!
