Hi
I have just purchased an S70 from the US. Amazing piece of kit. Does anyone know if the Z wave supports both US and European frequencies? I have read a review which said that it did as there was not a region specific model but I was pretty sure that would not be the case as in the Q50 which I know is specific to region. Just wanted to check before I spent a load more money.
Thanks

It is region specific as the frequencies are different... so you would not be able to use it outside of US

I thought there was a region setting where you set the frequency. No?

I just tried it, it seems that changes the region of your project file and not the device, since it didn't let me download it to the device... (US device, set the region to EU and added NevoConnects, it won't let me download to the device anymore)

Good info. Thanks for sharing your experiment. It'll never be a concern for me, but plenty of European and Australian posters have expressed an interest in Nevo and have a hard time finding it. This is important stuff to know if they go the route of buying a U.S. unit.

Hi,
If you are having trouble finding a dealer then you should try the local distributer.
In Australia it is Amber Technology.

Thanks for all the info guys. Guess I will have to head down another route as Zwave is not going to be of use in the UK as I have the US S70 :( Shame

hmmmm... you should still be able to use a NevoLink if IR is all you need.
