Does a Q50 work with multiple Nevo Connect devices?
It seems like you can do it by pairing to each NC's NevoID if I read some posts I've found correctly, but wanted to be 100% sure.

I have a setup that has 2 separate RF -> IR extenders for equipment in 2 physical locations and I need to send some commands to one extender and other commands to the other extender.

Also reading a review of the software, it seems I can enter custom pronto hex codes
for getting unique IR codes I've already developed onto the device correct?

Thanks,
Adam

The answer is - sure you can. Add multiple Connects with in StudioPro. Each one is addressed individually, you associate the equipment you want on each one, then when you load you program onto the Q50 - a wizard will walk you through setting up both Connects on the Z-Wave network. Fairly simple.

I can verify Droo's answer. And indeed it is possible to import pronto hex or ccf codes!

i have a client with 4 zones,
2 that he rarely uses . .

i want to put a nevo connect nc-50 in each zone
and use a nevo S70 to control each zone . .
from front page, choose your zone, then control etc . .

from what i understand this shouldnt be an issue . .
but what my question is, can i do the same but with 2 nevo s70's?
each S70 with identical programming . . .

ok i answered my own question, i have one nevo connect setup with my system, and one S70, the key is to add the next S70 to the first S70, not to the connect again . .
you are basically Joining the network instead of creating a new network with the second one,

what i did notice though ,is if two S70's are controlling one nevo conecct, you have to wait about 10 seconds between button pushes on each one . . .

but with the setup at my client, it will be very rare for both to be controlling one connect . .

very cool.

Hi,

Correct.

It is a little more in-depth that this but in general once one remote is communicating to a NC-50 then that connect become "blind" to anything else trying to control it. The block out period is approx 5-7sec from the last communication.
