Long story short..... I had Studio Pro loaded on my Mac Mini via bootcamp/windows xp. All was well until bootcamp went south, so I had to erase the partition and start from scratch.

Now I have a clean install of Nevo Studio Pro.. my Q50 with it's working configuration, but I need to make some changes. It appears I don't have the ability to upload my Q50 config. to the software to make changes. Unless I'm missing it....??

How do I uplaod the Q50 configuration to Studio Pro?

While the Q50 is attached to your computer, go to File, then Restore Configuration from Nevo...

Thank You. However, I cant seem to open the file. When I attempt to open the file, it's like the file doesn't exist because it doesn't show up in the location I saved it. If I manually look in the folder, I see it.... but Studio pro doesn't.

I also opened a file I downloaded from RC, then tried to import my file in hopes of deleting the RC file. The wizard allows me to select the file to import, but wont allow me to click next!!

Perhaps since I am using the newest software, and my current Q50 file was created with the older software, I may be sol because of a corrupt upload since I didn't have a saved file that already existed with studio pro.

I may have to start from scratch?

Hi,

There is a good reason for this.

Nevo Studio Pro (NSP) manages many remotes and a project is saved as a "job" file as opposed to NS 2.0 which could only do a single remote.

What you have done is saved a "remote" not a job file.

Simply start a new job and select the "import" option. You will now see your restored file.

This is a very basic explanation of one of the new features in NSP.

D.

I am having this same issue, my old pc died, clean install Studio Pro. Have a saved configuration on the remote currently.
When I goto File -> Restore Configuration From Nevo ->Pop up box -> Select Target Location -> Browse... Showing New Folder... Empty... Dead End

2nd Try... File -> New Job -> Name New Job -> Select # of Configs: Nevo Q50:1 ->Next -> Finish. Then go back to File -> Restore Configuration From Nevo ->Pop up box -> Select Target Location -> Browse... Showing New Folder... Empty... Dead End

I have tried some other things, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out have to upload my current remote configuration into the software.

Can anyone help me?

Yikes! Nevermind. Saving not finding.... Sorry. Got it now.

That pop-up box is just for the purpose of identifying a location where you want to save the configuration. Did you actually try saving it?
