I probably already know the answer to this, but I figure I asked just in case someone may have figured it out. Has anyone been able to get their NSL to work with a Dish 921 receiver? The receiver only accepts RF signals, and don't know if anyone has heard or figure out a way around this obstacle. This is the only equipment I can't get my NSL to control. Which is a bummer, since I'm still stuck with two remotes.

TIA.

I also thought you could change that receiver to accept IR signals? Is there a setup menu for that?

The Dish 921 receiver can and will accept Both IR and RF/UHF remote control signals. I am currently using the NEVO SL to control my 921. The DISH PRO 8.0 remote that comes with the 921 is RF/UHF only, when using it for the satellite receiver. It does have IR output for the TV/VCR/Aux modes.

Did you use the 921 codes (S0775) that is available from Nevo? I went to their site and downloaded the 921 code and it didn't seem to work. Code works fine on my Dish 811, but can't seem to get it to work for the 921. Any special step you have to do? What firmware are you running on your 921?

I'm running the latest firmware, but it doesn't matter. I started with the S0775 code, but I had to learn a few codes (sd/hd, format, DVR, info, off, on, cancel) from my Pronto 7000. Make sure you do not have any other IR repeater systems flashing your 921 when your testing the NEVO sl.

I'd like to know if this stuff worked
