Is there any way to edit the media zone page?

They certainly need to implement this ability. I want to be able to select a zone, then a computer (or server then media source), right now I have labels that say Theater/Bedroom, and Theater/Laptop in order to view bedroom or laptop files in the theater.

It would be much better if I could create some jumps to get to a couple different media zone pages.

Another approach is to run a shortcut on your media page. That should do just about anything you want to do. It is under the System settings page, under Media Zones.

When you press the Media Zone, it will fire that shortcut.

Just make a shortcut for each situation.

The short cuts are for executing ir commands, I am not sure how you set it up right without using them. We want to be able to edit the media page or have multiple media pages.

I want to be able to select a zone from one page, and then jump to another to select a source/hardrive from the network.

I think that nevo studio needs to allow for the customization of the media zones page so we can get it on the same theme as well as be able to choose our layouts etc.

Personally, I'd also like to see the ability to be able to select a media zone and follow that command by connecting to WiFi. Constant use of WiFi is too much of a battery hog and unless you use a Nevo Link to access hidden components, constant WiFi is unnecessary.

To me, a connection only to WiFi when using media zones would be much more efficient. Unfortunately, as of right now, this is not an option under NevoStudio or power management right now.

Not true! - shortcuts can do a lot more than just send IR commands.

What is a shortcut, anyway? Well, a shotcut is a macro which can be called from any other place in the config. Complex or simple, they both work.

It could just be a jump, if that is what you are trying to do.

I had another client want to access the Media Zones via a shortcut, which would be nice but I do not see anyway to do that unless the new "system" jumps do that. Check out the new system jumps options. I haven't used them yet but I do see some media options there.

Your shortcut could simply be a jump to another page, when you press a media zone.

Then you could do something else, after that.

I know I can do jumps through shortcuts, but since there is only the one media zone page and it is not editable i cannot do what I want to.

I want to press 'Theater' in a page (telling it where I want to watch/listen), and have it jump to another page that says, 'Office', 'Laptop', and 'Theater', these second three options are where the media I want to view/hear is located.

That would be easy enough if I was dealing with only one zone, but on a page I want to have, Theater, Bedroom, Office, Kitchen, and then jump to the respectice media source slection page.

I can't do this unless I can have multiple media zone pages which I can jump to individually and label independently.
