Hi all,

I am looking for a "Power On" discrete code for my Philips 42PF9831D LCD. The ones available in the Nevo database do not work. I also tried some downloadable ones for Pronto RCs, but they don't work either. The "Power Off" code works fine..

It would be great if someone could help.

Have you tested any codes from here?

Thanks for the reply. I tested the codes, but unfortunately they don't work. And also I put the wrong thing in the post. I have a working "Power ON" code and the "Power OFF" doesn't work right. My TV keeps turning on when it's supposed to stay off..

Thats a easy fix.

Use the Power On command in the All On macro.
Use the Power toggle in the All off macro. If it still gets out of sync you can send a power on then a delay then the power toggle.

That should get you out of trouble untill you get a working off code.

Thanks again. That's what I did. But the problem with workaround is that it takes almost 10 seconds until the TV is ready so that you can send the Power Off. Well, I guess I just have to keep searching and again thanks for your ideas
