I got my Q50 today and have to say it is much more user friendly than the 3000 series pronto I was using. Plus the software is much much better if you ask me.

I am having one small problem though. After I got done creating my setup I installed it and at first I couldn't get my DVR functions to work. Everything appeared alright but when I hit button I got a small caution triangle at the top of the screen. What I ended up doing is redoing the dvr setup and reinstalling it and it worked fine.

Now though I am having the same problem with my xbox 360 functions. I have tried redoing them with no luck. they still don't work and I still and getting a caution triangle at the top of the screen. Everything else works wonderful. I know it is just my xbox but I figured I want everyhting on this remote. Anyone have any ideas?

thank you in advance

Are you using the NC50? If so, it sounds like your NC50 and Q50 are losing their connection.

Then maybe you accidently assigned your Xbox to a NC-50 basestation in NevoStudio Pro even though you don't really have one. As far as I'm aware, the only time you should see the warning symbols are if the command didn't go through to the base station (NC-50).

I would double check your configuration and make sure you don't have anything listed in the Nevo Ecosystem tab (in the upper right corner of the screen).

What codes are you using?
Are they from the database, did you learn them or Paste them as Hex?

they are from the data base. I even tried them because there were 2 possible codes I could use. I found the one I wanted when I tested them and went with that one.

Make sure you are on the latest version of NSPro and check for a firmware update for the Q50.

Might fix everything.

Hi anmetcalf,

I have been looking at your job. Hmmmmmm.

Something is very wrong here.
It looks like something is possibly corrupt?

If you start a new job and just add the Xbox does it work?
It did for me.
When I copy the working files into your job they stop working. Hmmmmmm.

I have sent the file to UEI for evaluation. Hopefully I will have an answer soon.

Stay tuned.

I'm straying off topic a bit, sorry......ddarche, I checked last night and have yet to see a software/hardware update. How recent is the update you are referring to?

Thanks,

Mark

thanks sydinstaller, I do appreciate it very much. I am going to try making a new one in the next couple of days or so. There is something else wrong as well because on some screens it will leave the backlight on until I leave that screen. Then when I go back to that screen it is fine. got me puzzled.
