I have a NevoSL and am having problems with some components that don't have discrete codes like my cable box and receiver, etc. I was interested in a product like the Universal Remote Control MSC-400 which tests the status of the devices it controls and issues commands accordingly. In other words, it finds out whether your TV is "on" or "off". Does such a product exist that is compatible with the NevoSL?

There is a new Nevo base station called the NevoConnect which can perform power and video sensing, unfortunately it's only compatible with the newer NevoQ50 remote and not the NevoSL.
You can try alternative methods to find discrete codes for those devices like hex codes or maybe finding them here on this web site.
