There is a thread that began back in August regarding NevoSL going dead in craddle. I have also encountered this problem. I sent my unit into UI and they diagnoised it as a problem with the unit; not the craddle and not the battery. Because I did not purchase the unit from a registered dealer with UI, they would not entertain repairing it, even for a fee. Does anyone know of where one can get their NevoSL repaired?
Thanks

UEI would be the only place that repairs units. Could you go back to who you got it from and ask them to registrar? The only other option is to find a electronic repair place near who and give them a chance, but keep in mind that they will have no schematic and will charge for their time if they fix it or not.

UEI is making a short sighted mistake here. There are only a few of us that actually program their own remote. But we did pay for it. And UEI did make their profit. I can understand a dealer not entertaining fixing a product bought on the "grey" market, but a manufacturer? Just makes you wary to deal with them (or their products) in the future. That said, it's still a great remote!

Well, you can always buy from someone like Dave and still program the remote yourself and get the support benefits, check out his site: http://www.remotequest.com/

I'm aware of that, and just may buy from him in the future. Dave's been nothing but a benefit to this forum. Just sayin' UEI ought to fix their own product.
