I have had my Nevo for over a year now and I love it. I have made all sorts of custom screens etc. But I have had one issue that stared about 6 months ago.

I think it started because of a software update to my remote, but the issue is that each time I go to press a button on the screen I have to press it twice. For example, I want to choose my SNY icon, I need to select it once it does not "depress" like I clicked it, so I must press it again for the remote to register the hit and transmit the signal. I thought this was a software fix to the sticking Volume key issue, but then the more I thought about it I thought I would post to see if it was something wrong with my remote.

Does anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

Reboot on side of remote and see if that helps

I've tried updating the software and shutting the unit on and off few times and it doesn't seem to amke a difference. Any other thoughts?

See if you can change the sensitivity. Or load a new file from a template and see if that does anything different

Try re-calibrating. In the Nevo menu, top-left of screen. Go to setting. Run the calibrator and use the stylus. Be very preceise when hitting the middle of the X.

Did you by chance use some buttons from other than the built-in buttons? Sometimes buttons you pick up off the web are not made right. They look good but are actually too transparent. A transparent button must have at least 1% visible background.

Hope this helps...Dave

I just did a simple Reset using the reset button on the remote. I never tried that before because I figured that turning the unit on and off would have been the same thing. Thanks for the help guys, looks like it is working great again. Can't believe I waited all these months to post and try and fix that issue. Now I just have to break myself of the habit of hitting each button twice!
