Ive had the Nevo SL for a while now and got it setup perfectly except turning on my Plasma

Ive got the Write HEX code for the plasma as when i press watch TV the Screen flashes to show it receiving the command but the command is just not held long enough to turn on the TV so i have to manually goto devices choose plasma and hold the power button til it comes on

Is there a way to make the Nevo SL hold the commands for longer?

Once Ive got that working ill need the discrete codes for the HDMI and Component as there the 2 im using so if anyone has them to hand would be great otherwise ill just do a forum search which i did for the problem above and found nothing to help.

Thanks

Check that you have the correct HEX code because if you do it should send out the code for the correct period off time, I haven't come across one that doesn't before. Alternativelty you could try and edit the HEX code by coping and pasting it so that it duplicates itself (never tried it before so don't know if it will work or not). If it helps I have a TH42PWD6 the codes are probably different but the HEX for mine which works perfectly is:

0000 0071 0000 0032 0080 003f 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0a98

Unfortunately, the PX70 (as do all UK Panny domestic TVs going back at least 10 years, as far as I know) require the power command to be sent for a certain number of times to switch it on. That's why press and hold of the button switches the TV on, but placing the power command in a macro does not (the command will only be sent once in a macro).

Pasting a repeating power command of the correct duration into the editor will not work either (I assume that this is analogous to press and holding a button to learn a repeating command; only the basic command is learned and not "x" number of repeated codes that are sent depending on how long you hold the button for).

I would be nice if Nevo implemented a duration option similar to the Prontos, where it can be specified the time for which a command is sent.

However, there is at least a discrete power off command that should work in a macro, try this:

0000 0071 0064 0000 007F 0041 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0AAB 007F 0041 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0041

Also, I'm not sure if discrete codes exist for the AV inputs on UK models (just US), but there are some discrete codes listed in the ProntoNG files area that you could try.
