Hi all,

first post so go easy on me!

Took receipt of my Nevo yesterday and am having difficulty in charging it.

Can anyone help.

I have received 4 female adaptors and 2 male adaptors which slot into the power lead and should then be connected to the base station.

The only adapator I can get to fit the aperture is the one with the blue plastic ring on it the others are simply too big. Although the blue one fits the opening it seems reluctant to slide onto the metal pin that is in the aperture.

The last thing i want to do is break my new toy so can someone advise.

I purchased from ebay and have queried with the seller and I have been told that he sent out the charger that was supplied with the Nevo. I believe it is a UK as the plug has a 3 pin plug on it.

looking forward to your advices

Paul

The models in the Netherland (i have 2) do have only one connector and fit nice.

It is also not normal to include an adapter with more than one connector to connect to the device. Sounds like the origional adapter is replaced with some universal.

I bought my nevo on ebay fully knowing that it was an import (Well i assumed) so i new i would have to get a new adapter. Here is the tip, i would have never worked this out unless i had one: The power Supply for Sony's PSP game system is perfect for the nevo and it charges fine (Well mine anyway so dont sue if not for every one) and the plug is the exact size. So i just picked up another one for the nevo off ebay as well. Hope this helps some one. Lee

Thanks for the replies.

Not sure that this is an import as there is a UK 3 pin plug in the box but I am not sure why there are so many adaptors, perhaps this is the way the Nevo is comes.

Will try the PSP route and see if I have more joy.

Thanks again

hi, the official uk nevo comes with a uk 3 pin plugtop transformer, it does not have adapters, this suggests that the psu you have is not original nevo, be careful! check the dc voltage output and the power rating.
