As soon as NevoStudio 2 came out I "TRIED" to update via NevoStudio 1.
So it downloaded NS2 and then it tried to install, but then I got the message that I had to uninstall NS1 first via add/remove programs.
So that is what I did. Because NS2 first was downloaded as a package it self I had the setup file.
So I started the installation. After some initializing I got the message that there was still a previous version of NS on my pc. I tried a couple more time but still couldn't install.
After trying many things (also contacting UEI), I got into my register and deleted everything I found from UEI and Nevo. But I still got the message.
I also had this problem on an other pc.
Luckely I had a clean laptop were I could install NS2.
Now I landed on this website but couldn't find a simmular issue. Now I hope someone does have the solution or maybe the same problem so we can fix it.

I think I've seen that before. Whats the exact error you get?

Here is the error. It's a pretty simple message and it's not a Windows error screen.

NevoStudio software suite installation cancelled
NevoStudio software suite was not installed on your system for the following reaseon:
- A previous version of NevoStudio is present on your computer. Please remove it manually using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.
To install NevoStudio software suite, please run the installation wizard again from the CD.

Just to mention; Nevostudio can't be found anymore in the add/remove programs.
