One of my customers dislikes the Pronto RU990's they have installed and have seen a relative's NevoSL that they like.
I have looked through the various comments in the forum and am hesitant to say the least on whether this is going to be a control that will be suitable for a "picky" client. The control will only be used for IR control
However :-
1) Is there an easy way to migrate pronto IR codes over to the NevoSL
2) I have always loved the IR power of the pronto, does the NevoSL come anywhere close to this. I am referring to both IR strength and the wide spread of IR so that you do not need to aim with any accuracy to control a device.
3) How usable is the touch screen for changing sattelite channels etc. Is it big enough and responsive enough to enter 3 digits reliably etc? How does the touch screen size compare to a pronto?
Thanks.

i have never owner a Pronto so cant answer your comparison questions but i can say that the IR is fantastic. i believe there are 4 IR blasters.
since the last software update i find the TS is very reliable, aswell big enough for well sized number keys.

There is a conversion for pronto, I haven't been able to import button labels yet, the rest seems to work.
IR strength seems to be at least as strong as the pronto.

Thanks for the comments, I think I will purchase once to take a look at.
