Hi, thinking about to buy a Nevo and install it myself...;-)....
To stream e.g. mp3, I need a kind of media gateway, right? Can I use anyone, e.g. Linksys, SMC or D-Link (wireless of course)?
From my understanding the "Nevo Media" software on the PC just need to find the gateway to stream to....
Thanks for your help. Oliver

Assuming you have a wireless network going, you only need a media gateway (or renderer) if the target PC with the mp3's on it, is not connected (for audio) to your hometheater system.
The DLink Media Lounge DSM-320 and the Roku m1000 have been reported to work fine, especially with the latest Nevo software/firmware updates.

You can even use any WindowsXP machine you already have with their Media Server and Player which comes on the same CD and you won’t have to spend more money!
