Has anyone used the NevoSL as a replacement/alternative for the new Crestron remote (TPMC-4X) which is an identical unit? I have two that I would like to use in a Crestron system.

You wouldn't be able to do anything other than control Crestron by IR, the Crestron unit has a different operating app on it to communicate directly to Crestron as a Crestron touch panel. They look the same and yes the Crestron has a Nevo chassis but they are not the same inside.

I was under the impression from UEI, the units are identical but Crestron has their own firmware.

I was also under the impression that they were the same, other than firmware. I have heard of some people that have been toying with it, but nothing solid yet. Let me know if you hear anything
