I have the nevo, and a d-link dsm-520. I am using the Tversity server for both the Nevo and the D-link. All commands work great, and with the Tversity, I am able to play more file formats than using the D-Link or Nevo servers.

Interesting info. Thanks for posting. I will check out the Tversity server. Does the DSM520 GUI get out of the way for video or pics? Others report this problem.

Thx Dave

I am using the TVersity server with the D-Link DSM-320 very successfully
with the NevoSL.

TVersity's claim to fame? It will query the player and see what formats are accepted and "transcode" the file on-the-fly to an acceptable format, so you can play the file on that player.
Unfortunately, the "transcoding" does not work with Nevo'sw Media Zones.
But, if you are controlling the DLink using IR with NevoSL, it will transcode.

A BIG problem with the Media Lounge is that the 1.8 firmware update on the DLink DSM-320 takes away some of Nevo's functionality with it. So stick with 1.7!!

Thanks for sharing this info! It so happens I was thinking of buying a DSM-520 and am looking for a remote to control it. I still have a few questions though and I hope you can help.

1. does the Nevo display cover art for CD's and DVD's using the Tversity server? I'm especially interested for DVD's. If not, is it still possible to select the DVD you want to see on the Nevo screen? Does anyone use TwonkeyMedia in this setup?
2. Can the D-link/tversity server play Vob files?
3. According to some reviews I read the Dsm-520 has limited options to organize your music. In your experience, is this true? Could you share your experience with the device? Perhaps list the pro's and cons?

Many thanks!
Best,
Glenn
